Hi!  My name is Stephanie and I am a mom of 2 amazing kids.  I have been photographing newborns, children and families for the past 9 years!  

 

One question I always get is, "How did you get into photography?"  The answer is, "I don't really know."  That may seem strange, but it is the truth.  I never set out to be a photographer.  It kind of just happened.  Then people say, "How did you start specializing in newborn photography?"  Again, I really don't know.  I just fell in love with newborn photography as soon as I did the first one!  Newborn photography is like an art and a world of photography all in it's own.  A lot of people can pick up a camera and snap a picture, but handling and posing newborns is just something that takes a certain kind of person with an extreme amount of patience.  Actually, I can spend hours and hours photographing newborns and I never get tired of it!  Sometimes my back may disagree, but overall I enjoy every second of it!  I love watching families grow and photographing their special moments year after year.  

 

Most parents call me the baby whisperer!  I guess I kind of am.  I am just very comfortable handling newborns and have found so many ways of soothing them to sleep!  When I go into a store I rarely see home decor....  I find myself thinking, "Can I put a baby in that?"  In all seriousness though, I have so many props, hats, headbands, wraps, buckets and backdrops that I don't know where to store them all!  It's a good thing I have a big basement!  

 

Besides newborns, I also photograph a lot of sitters, 1st Birthday cake smashes, athletes and family portraits!  My Christmas Mini Sessions are always a huge hit and start booking in August!  Every year I have multiple different themes for both inside and outside set-ups.  Please contact me if interested in information on these as they normally sell out very quickly!  

 

Besides Photography, my kids are my absolute world!  I have 2 teenagers who keep me on my toes and very busy.  I wouldn't have it any other way!
